Define what the first model needs to prove
An appearance model, an assembly-fit prototype and a functional study need different detail. List the decisions you want to make after seeing the first version. Separate fixed dimensions from features that can change. This makes it easier to agree a practical first deliverable instead of building detail that the project does not yet need.

Zagnat has a $200 project minimum. It is not a fixed price for every job. Source quality, geometry, size, quantity, finishing and the requested deliverable affect the quote. Feasibility, scope and timing are confirmed for the actual project.

No. Specify whether you need a mesh for printing, editable CAD, drawings or more than one deliverable.

Will the model be ready for manufacturing?
Manufacturing requirements depend on the process and supplier. Include those requirements so the necessary preparation can be scoped.
