3D Printed Replacement Parts and Custom Plastic Components
A replacement part needs to fit the job as well as the space. Send the original file, photos or a sample description so Zagnat can review the design, material and production work needed.
Start with the interface and operating conditions
A bracket that supports a light display has different requirements from a clip that flexes repeatedly or a housing exposed to heat. Describe contact surfaces, fasteners, movement and loading. If the original is damaged, identify which dimensions are reliable. The goal is an agreed replacement design, not an assumption that any printed material will behave like the original.

What to send with your request
- Source CAD/STL or clear photos with at least one measured dimension.
- The mating part, mounting pattern and critical clearances.

Include the deadline and explain any uncertain requirements. A complete brief helps separate design work, digital deliverables, physical production and delivery arrangements.
From your brief to an agreed result

- Scope any scanning, CAD reconstruction or design changes.
- Agree the material and prototype checks before production.
Zagnat has a $200 project minimum. It is not a fixed price for every job. Source quality, geometry, size, quantity, finishing and the requested deliverable affect the quote. Feasibility, scope and timing are confirmed for the actual project.

Can you recreate a broken part?
The part can be reviewed. Missing features require dimensions, an intact reference or an agreed reconstruction.
Can every plastic part be replaced by a print?
No. Heat, loading, flexibility, wear and the manufacturing process affect suitability.
Can I order a single replacement?
Individual projects can be reviewed, subject to the $200 project minimum. That minimum is not a fixed price for every part.
Do I need an STL file?
Not necessarily. Sketches, CAD or a physical reference may be useful, with design work quoted when needed.
