Separate surface repair from design changes
Overlapping shells, missing surfaces and uncertain scale can prevent a model from behaving as expected. Other problems come from the design itself: a feature may be too thin or a mounting hole may be in the wrong position. Explain the symptom and the required result so file cleanup, remodeling and CAD reconstruction can be scoped correctly.

Questions about this service
Is this the same as STL repair?
STL repair is a specific mesh-preparation task. Broader model repair can include reconstruction, design changes or another file format.
Does cleanup restore the original CAD history?
Not automatically. An exported mesh may not contain the information needed to recreate native CAD features.
Can a preview prove the repair is complete?
A preview helps inspect shape and scale. Production suitability depends on additional checks for the intended process.
